People have flooded the British Museum’s Instagram posts with comments demanding the return of a moai. Moai are enormous stone statues from Rapa Nui (Easter Island). The island is now part of Chile.

The British took the statue in 1868. Rapa Nui islanders have long asked Britain to return the stolen moai. Most of the people currently flooding the museum’s Instagram posts are Chilean. The museum has now closed the comments on some of its posts.
