Painted by Hand

The London-based globe maker Peter Bellerby started a handmade globe company named Bellerby & Co. Other manufacturers disappeared many years ago. Now, Bellerby’s company is one of the last two companies to make globes by hand.

Their globes feature elaborate details. They are hand-painted. Making globes takes a lot of time, even as long as a year. This company hopes that their customers pass down the globes through many generations of their families.
