Two Generations



Ryan Smith, now 23, was one of the first children to attend an Intergenerational Learning Center in Seattle. Providence Mount St. Vincent is a retirement home for the elderly. It also has a daycare center inside. The young and the old interact with each other. Smith said that it taught him valuable life lessons. As an adult, he wants to help people and is training to become a firefighter.
