A Hug and a Letter

Pope Francis recently visited the United States. Millions of people saw him, but he will always remember Sofia Cruz.
Sofia, 5, was born in the United States. Her parents are Mexican. They live and work in the United States without the government’s permission. Sofia ran through the security barricade during the pope’s parade. She gave Pope Francis a hug and a letter. Sofia asked him to help her parents to stay in America forever.
