Female Sushi Chef Proves Herself

Yuki Chidui, 28, is a sushi chef and restaurant owner in Tokyo. In Japan, it is not common for women to be sushi chefs. Many people think that women’s bodies are warmer than men’s bodies. They think that women will make the sushi too warm and it will not taste good. Chidui works to overcome this misconception. She says that her sushi is always fresh and cute, too.
