Birds are smarter than we think. Here is proof. Scientists gave full and empty peanut shells to birds. The birds weighed the shells with their beaks. They even shook them to hear the peanuts inside. Surprisingly, they took only the full shells and dropped the rest. They used the weight and sounds to determine if there was a nut inside.
