To Live on Mars

Laura Smith-Velazquez is not an astronaut. But she wants to become one. Mars One is a group of people. It wants to build a colony for people to live on Mars. She signed up.

As a child, Velazquez spent her time stargazing through her telescope and watching Star Trek on TV. Every year she tries to become an astronaut. She has not passed the test yet, but she keeps trying. Brye Butler Steeves
