New Photos of Pluto0Scientists are learning surprising things about Pluto. It was once considered our solar system’s ninth planet. NASA’s New Horizons spacecraft recently took new pictures of Pluto and transmitted them back to Earth.
As it turns out, Pluto has a diverse geography. It has glaciers, mountains, ridges, valleys, dunes, and flat-lands. There is nothing similar on any other planet, except the Earth. The photos will help scientists understand how Pluto’s terrain formed. This, however, is still a mystery.
