Men in High Heels

트로피이미지

Men wore high-heeled shoes in the past. In ancient Egypt, butchers wore high heels so they would not get dirty from the meat dumped on the floor. In the 16th Century, Persian soldiers wore high-heeled boots to ride on horseback more easily. They could stand up in the stirrups and use bows and arrows more efficiently. It is also known that King Louis XIV of France wore heels to make himself look taller.
